Interestingly, a loaded gun is the correct answer.

Here's the argument.... Pot is responsible for approximately 400 traffic fatalities annually (this is accidents in which the driver is ONLY high, not high and drunk).
Death due to unintentional firearm discharge killed 606 people in 2010. That's just unintentional discharge... not counting the 19,000 suicides or the 11,000 homicides. "But victor! Homicides aren't committed by law abiding individuals!!" Well... that's an interesting concept.
If you're referring to a law abiding individual as someone with all the proper licensing, I think you'll find about 50% of the homicides are with registered weapons (exact data is hard to find, but even with a substantial wiggle room that still multiple thousands of people). If you're referring to a law abiding individual as someone with no criminal record, then I think a safe estimate is that approx 5% of homicides are performed by someone with no criminal record (this is just based off data from milwaukee, as statistics are hard to find)... but even 5% gives you another 500 people.
End result... lots more people are killed either intentionally or accidentally by law abiding citizens with guns than by a stoner behind the wheel.
