I keep trying to take it because I hear it's good for you but it gives me horrible oily itch ass and I always quit. Only to try again. This time it is while I have been eating lots of corn on the cob and a really good habanero cheese I just discovered. Things have been ugly.

I don't like it either. Gives me horrible fish burps, but my doc told me to freeze it. Said that'll help out a lot.

I don't recall what it was, but I remember reading something about people taking too much fish-oil supplements these days and it having an adverse effect.

I'll try to find the literature.

Unless your doctor actually tells you that you need the supplement, I wouldn't take fish oil. Looks like it has a negative effect on prostate cancer risk and, more importantly it is increasing insulin resistance (precursor to TypeII diabetes)

these are my docs

http://my.clevelandclinic.org/heart/prevention/nutrition/food-choices/omega-3-fatty-acids.aspx

Take note that a high intake of omega-3 fatty acids can cause bleeding in some people; so if you are taking 3 grams or more daily, consult with your physician.

nothing about oily itch ass

Try Kril.

Eats cholesterol, and it is only one pill a day.

Just eat some fish, forget the factory pills.

Turmeric on Cauliflower has shown some marvelous health benefits against prostate cancer. It is a good all around antibiotic, and anti Viral spice. Should be part of your daily eating.

Which dosage and brand do you recommend? 500mg? 1000mg?

How long before I see results? I've read it is very good for chronic inflammation as well, such as arthritis, bursitis, and tendonitis.
