The FBI has reopened its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state, in a stunning turn of events just days before the presidential election.

FBI Director James Comey wrote in a letter to top members of Congress Friday that the bureau has “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

Funny how all I hear for months is how the media is covering things up, and Comey is in bed with the Clintons because he isn't charging her for anything....

Yet this was reported on CNN, and if he were in bed with the Clintons he wouldn't keep looking at emails to make sure they are or are not pertinent.

Seems like your article proved everything wrong.

Gene... You're doing nothing more than the others, you simply are believing a different set of media. You have no actual knowledge that it's correct. You just choose to believe it.

As a life long cynic I need proof. That said, a lack of absolute proof doesn't make something untrue. Sometime proof is only made up of circumstantial evidence. It's you that is refusing to accept anything but absolute truth, your refusal does not discount what other can see. Just because you didn't receive a notarized statement from the big media CEOs pictured above doesn't discount the summary of their observiable actions.

True. But I've actually never seen any proof that the mainstream media is ignoring anything.

Every time someone claimed "the story mainstream media won't tell you about!" I've either found it on CNN, or the story is so ridiculous that it doesn't belong on any news station.

Most of the complaints and investigations against Clinton have been trivial, and a waste of government time and money, just political posturing. Her email scandal was the only one I thought really was significant. It got plenty of coverage. It's still getting coverage. The FBI didn't seem to care about what they saw, I have no reason to doubt that they were thorough, especially given that they are still looking into it. All evidence points to this being handled appropriately.

what about all the lies that went along with it..?? From Obama on down... I understand people lie, but lying to Congress is suppose to have repercussions.. 😟

The same could be aid about the treatment of GWB the mainstream media, but I don't recall you calling any of that trivial. You need to consult more sources.

But how do you know what you believe to be the truth is actually the truth? How are you sure the outlets which have told you what the "truth" is weren't simply lying?
