I just checked...turns out I do NOT have JD/MBA degrees.....I don't know...but while he allowed his lawyer say it is too hard (interesting that he wouldn't admit that something is too hard for him...but that's another subject)......I found it very hard to digest his comments that he doesn't legally, nor constitutionally HAVE to do ANYTHING, but because so many have asked, he's just going to have Don and Eric run the companies and they won't talk to him about them....what a load

I get what you say Dave. I haven't researched the law he quotes. If in fact he's correct, then its a matter of Presidential prerogative much like what LBJ said when he allegedly pissed on a reporter's leg. We don't have to agree, but its up to him.

Yeah...I fully appreciate that there are probably laws or constitutional interpretations that allow him to do nothing....I just find his dismissive, almost condescending manner pretty distasteful. Same feeling I had when he mocked the reporter asking about tax returns.....the boorishness probably worked well for him as a business executive....as my Commander in Chief/President, I'm not impressed

I don't recall him saying he would completely divest during the election. Maybe I missed that. Regardless it wouldn't matter to me either way. I can't believe anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of micro economics would a) believe it was that easy and 2) expect him to do so in a 2 1/2 month time frame.
