My response to Monkey had to do with two elected officials from AL in which both Monkey and I reside, not with the current ongoing soap opera about Russia costing Queen Hillary the election. But since you see fit to make it about that, I will reply.
As far as Session’s response to the question, I was not in his head, so I have no idea how he took or understood/misunderstood the question concerning the election or during the same. If, in fact, the two meetings in question were as a member of the Senate Armed Service Committee and not as a surrogate for President Trump's campaign, then this is a lot to do about nothing unless the left produces evidence of collusion. This should not be hard to prove if it happened, since it now appears that both Trump and Sessions were being monitored by a third party. If collusion occurred, I will gladly offer my services to help tighten the noose around the necks of those involved.
I really question the genesis for your concern/outrage over the Session’s situation. I don’t recall the same reaction from you during the past eight years when it came to Fast and Furious, Holder being held in contempt of Congress, spying on journalists, IRS scandal, Benghazi, Clinton’s email/pay for influence, and last, but not least, the Iran nuclear deal/ransom payments. Based on this, I’m guessing your current concern/outrage is faux rather than real and is a result of Hillary being defeated rather than you having a real concern for this country and its direction.
