...mhmm.... You can imagine you are being misrepresented. But you would be incorrect .

With that said, you're confusing the issue.
People will always bend, twist or break laws. Especially "minor" ones.
But when they are caught, they pay the piper. that's all I'm saying here.
You seem to be arguing that we should ignore illegal entry because Jo-blo bought a cuban. It's a false argument. The two are separate. And each hold a penalty.
I just want it enforced.

I have yet to talk to a person here (or elsewhere) who "paid the piper" regarding cuban purchases. The cigars would disappear... maybe I heard of a $100-200 fine... never heard of a single person getting any of that 10year jail time.

You mistakenly think that our cbid crowd is "paying the piper" on those "minor felonies" we have committed... but are incensed that laws against illegals aren't being sufficiently enforced.

Perhaps I mistakenly assumed that you want laws to be applied evenly. I guess you don't want that.

victor, Leon Lett is infamous in American football for a premature touchdown celebration...he was running towards the goal-line after picking up a fumble, with a certain 6 points in hand during the Super Bowl, when he turned and taunted a pursuing opponent by pointing the ball at him...the opponent, Beebe, knocked the ball out of his hands before Lett scored...

You're prolly thinking of Wayne Gretzky, prolly the greatest hockey player ever...I met him once at the UCLA tennis stadium...we were standing at the front gate, just before they opened to let the fans in...he's a nice guy, but not very big...

I have no issue with being anti illegal immigration. I am too. Send them home. But the conversation has moved to anti-immigration by far to many. Once a fringe thought.

relax the rules and quotas taking all reason for someone to not follow the rules, then go hard at those that don't. Take away all excuses.

While full of awesomeness, the Lett mythical aura only truly reached epic state the following year when Lett lost a game by trying to pick up a blocked kick at the end of a game....he fd around in the snow and allowed the other team to try another kick, which was successful and beat Lett's Cowboys....had he just ignored the ball sitting on the ground, they'd have won......thus the immortal admonishment; "Leon Lett it be!!"
