2015 Bel Air Bordeaux

I really like this one, just enough sweet and dry to it.

Could not find Roderer Le Hermitage our favorite bubbly in Prescott so we settled for a Conumdrun Blanc de Blanc to celebrate our 27th. Pretty good bubbly with pear and citrusy/tropical notes.

KRIS Pinot Grigio

Not big on white wines but took the kid and my mom out for sushi since she will be away for Mother's Day and it paired rather well.

This past weekend, Ghost Pines Red Blend.

Not bad for a blend.

Blends (meritage) are by far my favorite reds. The various grapes have strengths and weaknesses that when combined make for a better whole if combined correctly.

With the woman and kids at Ledger David tasting room, they just released their first Rosé we each had a glass. Very clean finish, a touch sweet and dry, a lot of honeydew melon. We got a bottle to go. They used Sangiovese grapes, that's a new Rosé for me. Now we're drinking a bottle of cab franc, it's there recent one (2015) that was released that I mentioned was "hot". It's VERY drinkable now, like chocolate after that Rosé.

2016 Novellum Chardonnay, Roussillon, France.

Nose of cara cara oranges, and white nectarines. Clean refreshing, layered, and complex. Flavors of white peaches, bosc pears, and a hint of navel oranges. Medium in body and nice finish with mostly white pears and the faintest note of apricots.

2017 Josefina Rose, syrah from Paso Robles.

think it was 5 or 6 bucks at Trader Joes. Worth double...HA!
Probably will go back for a few more to spread over the Summer, just a bit of sweetness makes it a nice sipper, but still good with a spicy dish.
