The meal was fantastic. Every couple brought one fun wine, and one serious wine. 7 courses of great food. Drink what you want. Topped the night off with a 15 year old Arturo Fuentes Anejo.

Yesterday I went for a hike then stopped by my favorite tasting room for a flight.

Chenin blanc (very tasty white)
Viognier (sp?) decent but not the depth the blanc has
Sangiovese (so good)
Orion’s Nebula (cab franc, Tempranillo and petit verdot) rich red

Then had a glass of Orion’s Nebula.

Got home and finished a bottle of Schmidt Family Vineyards Tempranillo
