Here's my overlook and point about the O.P..^^^^

IF YOUR NOT A U.S. CITIZEN....THEN WHY THE FUUUUUK
ARE YOU GETTING A CENSUS FORM?

That's way too logical frank!!!

I don't believe it....

Does it come addressed to them by name?
If so, they already k,ow they are there...
Why ask them again?

What I really wanna know is...

Has anyone's SOCIAL SECURITY # BEEN USED BY MANY ILLEGALS AND NOW AT RETIREMENT YOUR GOING TO GET THE MAXIMUM IN SOCIAL SECURITY BENE'S EVEN THOUGH YOU ONLY MADE $20K EACH YEAR OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE...BUT NOW YOUR GETTING THE BENE'S
$$$ AMOUNT THE A $250K LIFER SHOULD GET?

I understand why the GOP believes in the benefit for them

I'll bite: Why?

And don't say "because some dead guy had conversations with Trump"

I mean "why?"
As in "How does the GOP benefit?" (in their eyes).

The census determines the total population and population geographically, not by legality.

.

Not true.

The census is given to every legal residence.

People here illegally are not provided a census form.

This isn't opinion.

How about you tell all the readers what the GOP thinks would be the benefit of following the advice of the consultant this time?

never said otherwise.

does every member of your household receive an individual form to fill out, or just the head of the household?
I can't recall from 10 years ago, but it feels like I was expected to list all living at my address.
could be wrong, possibly.

for our more recent Town Census I had to remove a name or 3 as the Town was never notified. If my sister-in-law had taken up residence in my basement (as threatened), I would have added her...figuring that's the info they want. Wouldn't make her an eligible voter here or anything like that. But depending on her age, it might affect the way the town gets cut up for different elementary schools. Much more info than that would be superfluous, even though it may be real data. Just not needed for the purposes of the census.

you have made this more complicated than the simple issue requires...never would have made the Supreme Court with all of your conditions you want me to explain.

real question though, what makes a residence not legal?
I understand under a bridge and stuff, but wouldn't any existing address receive a census form?

wait! you're saying they already know who is legal and who is not?
they even know where the illegals reside?
then the whole issue is dumber than dumb.

I gave the GOP too much credit, I guess.

I think the most important thing we learned here is that a Supreme Court ruling should be considered more of a suggestion and is optional.

Seriously... The last 50 posts are misdirection.

The supreme Court ruled. The question is not whether the question should be allowed or is going to help one party over another.

The question is whether you're ok with the idiot in Chief directly disobeying the SC ruling

It's unclear in my mind what has happened and what has not.... partially because the administration has given conflicting statements. Because one of them is an absolute idiot.

The most recent change is the complete changeover of the lawyers representing the US in the court.... apparently they are now a team of commerce lawyers, which is odd.

As of the 4th, the trumpenfurher was saying he was still working on getting the question in the census... but that may be "working" in a legal manner.

He's claimed he will make an "add-on" which seems odd to me.... not sure how that would work...
