I have no problem with people declining the vaccination at this point- so long as they aren't harming others who are vaccinated, although my personal belief, which I am not imposing on anyone, is otherwise

If you are vaccinated and have the magic shield of immunity, how are those not vaccinated harming those that are?

If you've had it or have been exposed to it and your natural immunity fought if off, is that not as effective as getting the experimental injections? Is the man made "cure" that was created in the past year better than mother nature that's been doing it for the past (1)98.2 thousands of years?

In comparison, it would be like the rest of population that wore condoms were pissed at those who do not because there is a chance we “could possibly spread a std” even though there is a small percentage of that.

If you are vaccinated and have the magic shield of immunity, how are those not vaccinated harming those that are? Generally, they are not as of now.

If you've had it or have been exposed to it and your natural immunity fought if off, is that not as effective as getting the experimental injections? IDK. Maybe yes, maybe no. Time will tell. Is the man made "cure" that was created in the past year better than mother nature that's been doing it for the past (1)98.2 thousands of years? IDK. Maybe yes, maybe no.

I'm guessing I know a chit ton of people. 5% is a good amount.

What's up with "natural immunity" or immunity due to exposure?

Cost associated with risk not avoided. Ant individual may or may not but as a group certainly. Risk 101. Dollar that can be easily calculated. Easily.

Most healthy kids and middle aged people are not in the high risk population but there is still constant pressure to inject them with an "emergency use only" vaccine concoction.

People say the long term risks of getting vax outweighs the long term risks of the virus itself.

Since the virus only entered the human population about 2 years ago and the vax only has been in use for less than a year... how can the "experts" come to that conclusion? There is NO data on long term effects from either the cause, nor the "cure."

This is fact, not opinion.

Ok, Ok, I’ll give you that Tucker Carlson might have said it - but since he speaks with his anus it doesn’t really count.

“There is no data on long term effects…” and of course some rationalize this to mean the vaccine is “more risk than the virus”. Because they insist that no one knows anything, science and medicine are fake, and so on. That’s why a savior is needed - and some even accept Trump (lol).

* this is the same answer I get from the "experts" when I ask them to name one other vaccine that has been approved for use on humans using mRNA technology. That question has yet to be answered here in the discussions. The only answer I get from the "experts" is that I'm too stupid to understand it or I'm not asking the "right" questions. I know it's a stupid cigar forum, but any other forum will still come up empty.

So I'll pose you the same question - name one other vaccine that uses the mRNA technology that has been approved for use in humans by the FDA or any other official organization on the planet Earth.

Ok, what is it about mRNA that gives you concern. If it’s that it new, it not. This research is decades old. They studied it for treatment of flu, Zika, rabies, and cytomegalovirus.

That fact that something is the first, or as this the first widely used, in itself is not grounds for much concern - not where over a million deaths have occurred.

Now you may say that you don’t trust the FDA. But is it really that?

Me, I’m an engineer not a biochemist. I have no depth in messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccine.

But I do know that you and I use DNA and RNA as the foundations of our lives. Using a nucleic acid as a messenger to tell your immune system what protein to produce to fight an infection seems relatively straight forward - engineering how to make it is the new magic trick - not the mRNA itself.

I don’t blame you for not trusting the govmut.
We all should think for ourselves and play the odds.
But I struggle to see the concern you have.
