So I’m passing through Wisconsin on my way to Fargo, ND and stopped for lunch. For an appetizer I ordered fried cheese curds. Mofo’s are damn good.

Yep, fried are great (depending on where you go) or even fresh when they squeak when you eat them... they are the bomb. Sadly I can't get them out here. We have VT and upstate NY dairy land just a couple hours drive away but for some reason the stores don't sell curds

Don't eat too many though, you'll be backed and have an aneurysm trying to poop.

I remember the first “Ice fishing Herf” I went to in Sconie wit Blacky, Rocky and Sledn, (met up with 8track and Baron one night). My bag was STUFFED with bags of curds and other cheesiness. The TSA guys got quite a chuckle .

Reminds me Blacky! It’s cool enough to ship now!! 🙏

Had cheese curds just once. Daughter went someplace with her family and brought back their leftovers. Iirc, half a Wagyu hamburger and a bunch of CCs. The curds were still warm so ate a few. They all squeaked so from comments I had read before, knew they were fresh. Threw the rest into the toaster oven and warmed them up. Ate ‘em all.

Up in Fargo now. Snowing and 18 degrees. Took me about 9 hours to get here today. Snowed about 8 of those hours.

I’ve got two drops near here tomorrow AM then I head 2-3 hours west to Jamestown for my last drop. Afterwards, it’s down to Aberdeen, SD to pickup a load of beef headed to Phoenix, AZ. Supposed to snow tomorrow too.
