I am 6" with a large frame. My endocrinologist sez that 176-180 lbs. is my ideal, healthy, weight to keep.

I'm 5'10" and Navy height/weight standards say 191 is my max. I'm no body builder, but I have always lifted weights, and when I got to 173 I looked sick. Like chemotherapy sick. My wife didn't like it and she wasn't the only one that said I went too far.

At 178 I was wearing 34" waist pants, comfortably, and didn't have a gut. I wear 36" waist now and they're a little loose. My bp is creeping up, now, even at 192. So I gotta drop 15 or go on meds. I do not want to take a damn thing from big pharma until it is 100% necessary.

Still got too much food from vacation to start the weight dropping. Maybe beginning of May. I got 2 boxes of clam cake mix and my BIL sent me home with 4 cases of Tate's Cookies. Chocolate chip/walnut, coconut, oatmeal raisin, and lemon. Gave some away to neighbors... still got too many. lol

My frame is about 5-10. Wrestled in high school at 112, 119, 121 wt class. I've hovered around 150-160 lbs for most of my life after high school. I have the luxury of eating pretty much anything and I don't gain weight. Few years ago I was down to about a 140. Dr said I should be around 160 so I ate more of a high calorie diet and did the protein drinks to get back into 150-160 range.

I walk about 10 miles a day... not by choice but part of the job. I think my programed DNA and metabolism sets me at around 150-160 lbs no matter what I eat and if I gorge myself for Thanksgiving and stuff. I indulge in pasta, meat, cookies, candy etc... but I don't add much weight.

I do eat a lot of veggies, fruit, granola, dried fruit... for snacks along with cookies and other sweets (I have a sweet tooth).

I'm pretty much a fruit whore (natural sweet). Apples, oranges, watermelon, peaches, berries, pineapple, mango...

I've never met a fruit that I didn't like (there's a softball served up for a slam dunk reply)

I'm 6' and weighed 210 when the West Nile hit. Went down to 177 in about 3 weeks. Since then I have stayed under 195 but would like to get back under 190. I walk 5 miles fast every day before 8 am and who knows how many miles each day in total? Also lift about 3 times a week. Doc says with my build and age I'm doing great.

I rarely eat meat but stick with chicken and fish mostly. Big issue with me is I like ice cream and pizza way too much. (and beer/wine)

This is true for many meat on a stick selections... but one meat on a stick version that sucks is corn dogs. I'm not a corn dog fan. Maybe if it was wrapped in a biscuit or a croissant it would be better but the batter used for most corn dogs doesn't appeal to me.

I can do pigs in a blanket but there is no stick involved. Corn dogs need a better batter... maybe a bit o' butter bought from Betty Botter will make the batter better.

^You're weird. Corn dogs are coated in a corn bread type batter. Who doesn't like corn bread?

32 heading to 52 today.

Yesterday's Ride of the Day was a 2020 Porsche Macan. Porsches are fancy because- hold your breath for the big reveal...

The ignition is on the left side of the steering wheel. Fancy!

Shoulda said red meat but you knew that.

Morning guys. Looks like I need to rebuild the internals of my pool vac. It's only turning left so it quickly tangles and then stops working. (not a political comment but I do see a comparison)

Eat less food than I burn off.

I also quit drinking which ultimately was the cause of my weight gain and a significant factor in weight loss. Saving myself a ton of money too. 🍺

Happy Tuesday fellas.

Great solution. Why don't all the dieters think of that?
