Eating fried chicken for lunch, after you had a 6 shot mocha for breakfast?

Asking for a friend.

I have not. But sources close to my col... close to me to warn against unfettered consumption of fresh watermelon.

It is a means to an end, but it makes your end, mean.

Ok, so about 35 years ago or so, I was hungover pretty badly.
Woke up at a friends house and he was making a chit ton of bacon, and had about 1/2 inch of hot bacon fat in the huge cast iron skillet.
He then tosses in and fries 2 eggs in the bacon fat, using a spoon to pour hot fat over the eggs.

I ate those eggs, covered in fresh salsa and avocado, 5 pieces of bacon and chased it down with strong hot coffee.
About 30 minutes later I almost chit myself to death…

There are a handful of things over my life that I regret. Can't turn the clock back. They are history and a part of me. They are part of the foundation of who I am today - some good, some bad. Those are facts. What happened in the past is just that, the past. It's up to me to learn from both the negative and the positive. Don't redo the negative, apply them to do the positive. They may have been personal life decisions, job selection decisions, relationship decisions, health decisions and other stuff...

Parts of them or all of them have bitten me in the arse but they also have led to positive things (sometimes the former resulted in the latter). In the end, hopefully I learn from the many life decisions along the way. Some required one step or two steps back but hopefully I have used those lessons to take three steps forward.

Am I fully trained and know all the right decisions? Easy answer is NO.

For small (who the frank cares) example #1. My chicken curry that I made this past weekend. Turned out just OK. Lesson learned from that trial is I need to find a better recipe.

Example #2: When riding a bike at 20+ mph, probably a good idea to wear a helmet. It can save you from permanent head injuries and a visit to ER then 3 days in ICU.

P.S. that curry chicken ain't that bad. I'm doing leftovers for lunch. My personal opinion is it needs more hot stuff added to it. I thought it was on the mild side but folks that are bland are not fans of hot and spicy food.

Much better today, I made chili lemon chicken with Mexican rice, street corn salad and a mixed green salad with yogurt Caesar dressing and a couple cold beers.

The key is drinking a half pot of coffee before you leave the house to get the 6 shot mocha.
