I suppose the other thing we could just acknowledge is that when it comes to political issues, people like their echo chambers. This place wasn’t enough for some and they left to find a more suitable echo chamber. Then they say this place isn’t tolerant enough but sometimes the word they are looking for is “conforming”. The reality is the political conversations here are very tame.

If people were looking for MSNBC forums or an LGBTQIA+ support group, this is not it. This also is not TrumpLove.com or the RushLinbaugh forums. This is a cigar board where sometimes we talk politics and people often are very opinionated about politics. For those who left, I hope they found what they were looking for in their quest. I kinda like it here because it is not an echo chamber. I have climbed highest mountains, I have run through the fields, only to be with you.

People get butthurt over their political echo chambers. Remember the pancakes versus waffles versus French toast war? People didn’t leave over that when French toast won. How about the Fuente versus CAO war? People didn’t leave over that. Nope, it’s always politics where people go full snowflake.

What's upset (by the look of this thread!) some posters that they want the ability to spout garbage and then gaslight you over it later! Then, (when proven blatantly false!) PSS: We're not solving ANYTHING with listening stations, dark ops prison/interrogation sites, military bases and boots on the ground. Our CIA and now our fabulous FBI are on the record with election meddling not just in foreign nations but right here at home too. Bring the boys back home.

Think I outlined many of the contributing factors to what made everyone crazy(er).

Was asked who left. Provided that.

Was asked why I think they left. Provided that.

Then there was Were They or Weren’t They Liberal.

Disagree with HD on people all wanting to be in their echo chamber. Haven’t looked for an echo chamber mirroring my thoughts. Don’t care to find it if it existed. Maybe Abrignac is similar, as he is curious, and doesn’t seem interested in conforming going into a gasbag chambers.

Echo Chambers are for those with closed minds that are either unwilling or unable to think and learn...

I disagree with ALOT in theses posts but also learn ALOT... i even listen and watch news sources that i hate because i know they will provide a different view point and provoke thought. having to defend ones position makes that person more knowledgeable in that position by the very nature of needing to defend it... unless you are one of those that just regresses to name calling and regurgitating of proven false conspiracies... in which case, at least we get to laugh at you.
