The Mrs. and I have Valentine's dinner and overnight reservations tonight at a nice B&B about 45 minutes away. It will be nice to get away together. It's been over 5 years since the last time we had time by ourselves.

Wife and I usually don't make a big deal out of Valentine's day. Stupid holiday, if you ask me... made up by greeting card and florist companies or something. She's not much for chocolates or flowers.

That said, I got her a card and roses as a kind of WTF thing. Surprised the hell out of her. 🇨🇮

No change of address... will be working from home 60-80% of the time... there will be some travel, which I don't mind.. big thing was the money plus bonus... can't deny that... current boss said the door is open if it doesn't work out.. so I got that going for me... 😟
