81115 Megilla Hamsa giant 7x54. Not my thing but it came in a sampler of various sizes.
It's a very pretty cigar. The wrapper is smooth and oily no lumps or divots.
Draw is tighter than I prefer. First light some raisin notes and that goddamn Hoppes #9 in the background again. This is the 3rd Pages line where there's a hint of either Hoppes9 or PB Blaster in there. It's not in a bad way but it's so distracting I can't focus on anything else. A sweet solvent oil note. I keep powering through hoping it goes. It subsides to make way for ash and burning plastic - like throwing a thick glossy color photo magazine in the fire.
Maybe it'll improve. Draw is still tight and smoke production low. I feel like I'm mostly drawing hot air, with a hint of tobacco smoke.
There's just generic burning tobacco, little ashy, no texture. Even retrohale just a generic smoke sting. At least the solvent note went away by 2nd 3rd. Still occasionally getting burned plastic. The wrapper is sweating oils and super shiny. This should be a smoke bomb. The foot remains smokeless. Spose it would be good if I were a clencher but at 54rg that ain't happening.
I'm ditching it at halfway even though the draw finally opened up there's just nothing here to hold my interest. I gave it an hour of my time.
