A mR. joNEs spECiAl.....

Stopped at the place I normally go to cash in aluminum cans. No price listed. He said he pays .50 a pound.

Went to a competitor 5 miles down the road. .65 a pound. Deal.

Got talking to one of worker bees there after the transaction was completed.

Me: 65 cents, not bad. Saw recently it was up to 85.

WB: Yeah, you must have been by earlier in the week. The prices was 85 during the week. The boss cuts the price on the weekends, cuz that is when most of the people drop them off.

While both Canceled and Cancelled are acceptable for the past tense of cancel, the version with one L is more common in American English, and the version with two L's is more common in British English.

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea.
You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.
That- that's about it.

You missed raw. Go to any decent sushi bar and order “amaebi” and you’ll get a sweet raw shrimp. Some places will then deep fry the head and then serve it separately. Other restaurants will cook the head in miso soup and you’ll get a bowl of soup with the head in it later.

According to major medical studies, including long-term research from Harvard and other reputable sources, men who ejaculate at least 21 times per month (about 5–6 times per week) have a significantly lower risk of developing prostate cancer compared to those who ejaculate less frequently. Specifically, this frequency is associated with about a 20–31% reduction in prostate cancer risk.

I found this growing along the creek. Picked a bunch of it for my wife. She identified it using one of her wildflower books and put em in a vase, in the kitchen.

Also got a few of with the bulb and put them in a flower pot outside.

Apparently, without doing anything strenuous, you can wake up in the morning with sore muscles on the left side rib area. It's not like I was in the ring with Mohammad Ali but it feels like I took a couple body shots. Where the frank did that come from?

My first worry thought was appendix but it's not internal, just aching rib/belly muscles. Maybe I should cut down on doing sit-ups. I'll scale back from zero reps of sit-ups to doing less than zero reps of sit-ups.

Ya prolly dreamed of something strenuous. Thats all it takes for folks that are "long in the tooth".

The idiom "long in the tooth" refers to being old, especially beyond middle age, often used in a humorous or slightly derogatory way. It originated from observing horses, whose gums recede with age, making their teeth appear longer.

Timing in drives is extra crucial sometimes.

After being detoured due to an accident on the loop which surrounds Minneapolis/St. Paul, the redirect landed me right where I wanted to avoid (I-94) at the time I’d hoped to avoid (11:15).

The best part of the cosmic joke, was when I got myself established on 94 E, the first sign I saw confirmed my fate.

I was not only west of downtown, was 33 miles from St. Paul.
