Back to the cold Spring setting on the weather dial. The high temp target for today is 15 degrees below the norm (51).

There shouldn't be a windchill of any significance in the middle of May.

On the brightside, we aren't getting the heavy weather the Mid South is getting.

Mid South is listed as Kentucky. If that is true, and Alabama, Mississippi and Luisianna are the Deep South, what states make up the Shallow South?

Continued rain and 46 degrees (windchill 41).
The rain is expected to taper off.
Back behind the wheel in less than an hour.

HHD folks. Starting to heat up here. Will be 69/98 today and 100 the next few days. The pool is starting to look good but the water is still a little on the cold side.

Another dermatologist visit today for regular check up.

HHD Ram n dudes

On call, normally go in at 0930 but we were short so they called in the call team 2 hours early. At least I didn't get called in overnight. But it's gonna be a 12+ hour day today.

high of 97 today...hot enough that the grand girls came over and asked to jump in the pool, which at 77 was a little too cool...wife agreed to heat the jacuzzi for them...

I'm still wearing my heavy jacket and winter hat every day. Summer just aint coming. Everything's green, I'm mowing at least once a week, but it's COLD. Can still see my breath in the morning when I go outside.

We've had a few warm days here and there but the temps always crash back down and we get a storm. Already a couple tornados in my county this year, atypical for my area.

Met an older, local tv personailty today. Barely remember him. Fun guy. Got to talking about another local celeb who is still doing local news.

"He was a partier. We all were back then (1982-1987). And that guy was into Heavy Metal. I mean.... those parties. The metal music..... I can't even tell you (chuckled to himself)."

Was going to ask him how close the movie Anchorman was to being a documentary, but I didn't want to blow it.
