Yessir... and we might get 1 or 2 days for this entire year to keep ONE of them each day... and the reefs/wrecks here are absolutely overrun with the damn things. Federal law applies.
They were doing the same thing in the gulf and it got out of hand, so DeSantis worked with the feds and took over the oversight of that fishery with the FWC. He's vowing to work with this administration to do the same thing in the Atlantic and we need it.
Gulf side gets over 100 days a year to harvest Red Snapper. We need, at a minimum, a month or 2 over here.
