You got to respect a vehicle that has passive steering gear components that are 3/8" thick. The freakin engine block on new vehicles isn't 3/8" thick.
I really miss my old 1975 Chevy 4X4...a 3/4 ton with a 1 ton rear end. Leafs all the way around, 350, 650 Holley on an Offy 360 manifold, 4 speed, dual range transfer case. Automatic nothing. 8 miles per gallon. Linoleum carpet. 4 channel 8 track.
