Old-school CAO vs NEW-school-VOTE

Sometimes changing isn't a good thing.

When the Detroit Pistons went out and changed their uniforms to teal and black with a horse on the front of the jersey, it was an abomination! Now they're back with the "classic" uniform and VIOLA, a playoff contender!

To me, it gives off the impression that you're trying too hard to be hip and trendy. Stick with what brought you to there! You'll save a ton on start-up fees and you'll get that name recognition cemented in without all of the logo faux pas!

Even Chrysler went back to the classic 30-40's style logo and grilles for the PT Cruiser,Crossfire and Sebrings models. People liked that. It was nostalgic.

Ever meet anyone that actually "liked" the New Coke? Me either!

Which is this supposed to be, old or new?

Check out the other CAO cameroon cap I also posted. Thats what I consider "old school".

I think these newer caps arent as appealing to the "old school" guys like myself. Just my opinion.

I vote "old school". Now, if this cap is considered "old school", then I vote "older school", like the cap on my other post.... :>)

Jon, I'm new to the boards but IMHO I think the new hat design looks terrific. I think everything CAO does is extremely classy. I'd wear anything with a CAO logo on it. Just don't fiddle with the cigars!

I agree with Doc and Mag, I think you are tring to be to trended. I like old school. This hat looks geared toward the fast and furious crowd.

I think there is room for the "new wave" of gear. But, I would venture to say, that your "BIG BUCK" customers are mostly "old school" guys.

Dont forget who got your company where it is today, its not the youngsters.

I would run both lines of gear, the more traditional design & the new stuff too. That will make everyone happy, and isnt that your main goal?..... :>)

Too garish.I think the silver or white and black is better. For caps I prefer the low profile all cotton type.

I wear caps quite often and have never had a CAO cap.
All the ones I have seen look decent enough. I have been gifted probably over a hundred various caps through work and maybe out of that number ever been able to actually wear a dozen. The problem being that I wear 7-3/4+ size and most caps just do not fit well enough on my "water baby" head.
I would like to get one of your hats. If you have a high crown, six panel cap that does not have to be fully extended to fit my melon, let me know which model it is and I will take the risk ordering one.

Jon, I like 'em both. I just wish they came in a larger size. I wear a 2XL, and the gray one I got for my 6 cigar bands just sits up on top of my head. Makes me look like that kid in the Gary Larsen cartoon. lol.
