Thanks for all the feedback here...I am 'on the fence' about this as I agree that change is good. If you do not evolve, you are simply passed up.

That said, there may be a possibility of reviving the 'old' caps in the not-too-distant future. Also, we have done NON-flexfit style caps recently - CAO Criollo and CAO Box-Pressed Tubo styles were two very nice, high-quality caps that were adjustable.

As to the flexfit style fitting 'snugly,' I wear a fitted size 7 1/2 cap (which I consider big) and have rarely experienced any difficulty in wearing our caps comfortably. They do 's-t-r-e-t-c-h' to fit, people - they are NOT supposed to just sit on top of your head...

Again - thanks!

Another very cool cap Jon, I guess I have to go home and smoke more of my CAOs so I have more bands 🙂 I think the black with white stitching is a great contrast and I love the Cuban Schmooban ones my wife and I just got. The older stuff is great too, I want it all.

Now that I take a closer look, it reminds me of BP, as in British Petroleum. My father own a gasoline/repair station and was it was a BP station for years. That green with yellow border and text is what the sign looked like back in those days. Of course it wasn't oval and didn't say CAO 😉 As a little kid, about 5 years old, I even had my own uniform, complete with BP hat. I should see if I can dig up those pictures, I don't think my wife has ever seen them.

While I'm certain that 'BP' is a wonderful company, the reasoning behind the green/yellow color scheme of the oval patch is that this cap was designed for the BRAZILIA cigar line; the back of the cap has the word 'BRAZILIA' embroidered on it...

There is a similar themed cap for MADURO and GOLD, as well.

I love the Brazila to begin with, and would love to have one of those beautifully designed gems!

Can we send in bands to get this hat?
Jon@CAO

Ksig - PLEASE DO NOT send in bands for this particular CAO cap. This was merely posted as a 'preview' of a style to come later this year...

The only caps available currently, are displayed on our 'swag' page (CAO Double-R Collection). If you have yet to obtain one of those caps, I'd suggest doing so soon as with all CAO caps, once these are gone they will be gone forever...

We are expecting our CAO DOUBLE-EXPOSURE Cap collection to arrive some time next month....
