This kind of reminds me of when I was a kid. My first centerfire rifle was a Winchester Model 43 in 218 Bee. My Grandpa bought it in 1945 right after he returned from WWII. He gave it to me when I was about 5 years old and I still have it to this day in near mint condition.

If it's a male coon, I believe I've heard tell they actually have a small bone in their ****. You oughta check that out, and report back here...

Coons skin easily. Slit from chin to butt-hole and down each leg. Hide peels off. You'll get the eyelashes and nose, too, no problem. The tail skin comes off inside out.
