I have been off the boards for a week or so. HAve been wondering how he is doing. Glad to hear Max is doing well.
I will keep Max (and family) in my prayers.

djk, I'm glad to hear that Max is doing better. I know the fine B/SOTL here will continue our daily prayers for him until the doctors say that he's healthy enough to go home.

I've been watching this thread since you posted. I don't know you, so I haven't posted back. That said, I wanted you to know that I breathed a big sigh of relief at you post that he had a great day. I've done what you are doing and our thoughts have been going out. This is tough, and from experience its the toughest thing you and he and the whole family will do in his entire life. The good part is that it makes everything else that life will throw at you pale in comparison. Good luck, we'll keep him in our thoughts. Again, I can't tell you how happy I was to see he truckin along.

Max is doing so well! Tomorrow they will take away the vent and see what happens.

He is eating a ton, gaining weight and just looks marvelous. Please keep praying fellas.
