My feelings about the number of Latinos coming to this country is mixed. I don't know who invented the stereotype of the lazy Mexican, but it couldn't be further from the truth. I have yet to meet a Mexicano who doesn't bust his balls at whatever he does. But they have to, most of them are sending that money back to Tijuana, Mexico City, or wherever their home is to support their families.

The bad side is that they take so many jobs American citizens could have...but when you come down to it, its the jobs that, as Duck said, most of us think we're too good to do. They get paid low wages and are slowly being transformed into a peasantry here in America.

Before we can solve the problem of illegal immigrants and migrant workers here, we have to get to the root of it: Mexico itself. Would YOU want to live there? Hell no, that's why they all want to come here. It isn't going to stop until someone cleans up Mexico.

Just imagine if my relatives passed the same laws when they came to this country back in 1678. It would have been illegal for USAhog's relatives to emmigrate to my relatives' fine country. He should be greatful my relatives received his with open arms......

In 1678, we did not provide medical, housing, food to the poor from taxes. It is only illegal to come to this country if you do so illegally. There is an annual quota of persons who are granted immigration status from countries all over the world.

As someone who has been to over 50 countries, most of them poor, I can tell you that most of them would trade anything to live in the US. The poorest of the poor in the US live better than most of the 3rd world's population.

The laws of immigration are there for good reason, we can not simply open the gates.

Dan just becasue they bust their balls doesn't make what they are doing right. They are taking millions upon millions of welfare from us. Remember over the summer when you bitched at how much taxes got taken out of our paychecks part of the thanks go to the illegal mexicans. They are robbing the US government blind. What really pisses me off is that every big business you go in to there are not only English sings but Spainish signs too. If they came into America illegally they should atleast speak the goddamn language. They should also be deported on the fact of their bad taste. I hate when I am driving down the street and I see a compact truck with some tacky color and fake rims with everyone and their mother riding in it. How do you think my uncle got rich? He hired these people at half the cost it would have taken for an American to get the job done. They should work their asses off because they have no9 right to be here in the first place. THe liberals in Texas, Arizona, and Calf. should take responsiblities for their action because they literally open the gate for them to come across the border. Think about how they affect America in other economical ways. If one of them were to get arrested ( God forbid that) that is more taxpayers money it takes for them to go through the legal system and the cost of jailing these inmates, also think that what if one ate too many taco one night and got some medical problem. The hospital will not turn them away the government will pick up the tab for them. Dan I know you feel about equality and all that bull**** but face it before too long we should be the ones bitching about equality because not before long we will not be the majority and it is all happening in part of one border jumping at a time.

Like I said, Godfather...instead of bitching about the Mexicans taking jobs and all that crap, someone needs to clean up Mexico so people can actually live there again without worrying about getting shot, dying from diseases, or starving everyday.

Right now, I can't blame them for wanting to come here. Mexico right now, outside of the touristy towns like Cancun and Cozomel, has squalid living conditions not fit for even animals, tainted water, rampant crime (including drug cartels, smuggling operations, kidnap-and-ransom rackets, etc.), and a government that's too crooked to do **** about it.

Is it the US's problem? I don't know...but I do think we'd be better spending our foreign aid money cleaning up the **** that's closer to home and not across the ocean, like Israel and Palestine. What does all those billions of dollars we give to Israel and Palestine do? Absolutely crap, apparently! I still turn on CNN everyday and either hear about Israeli tanks rolling over Palestinians in some BFE village in the Gaza Strip or some whacko Palestinian running into a pizza parlor with a bomb on his back. Why not fix the problems closer to us and not thousand of miles away?

And about deporting Mexicans because of bad taste. That's a pretty broad generalization there...but damn, I can think of a lot more people besides the Mexicans I'd rather deport on the basis of bad-taste, lol. What about all those trailer-dwelling, Marlboro-smoking baby-machines that eat up a hell of a whole lot more welfare money than illegal immigrants do? Or an even better example of bad taste...the stupid kids that spend $100,000 fixing up a ****ty $4,000 Honda Civic with rims, stereos, and weedwhacker muffler tips? I'd rather deport all of them, lol!
