Forgot one thing about Mexico that's terrible....there are no jobs there! That's why they come here.

If you'd actually ever get to know some of these people, most of them are very hard-working, nice people...well, I'm speaking for the legal ones who come here on work visas for a year or so and go back. Maybe the illegal ones are worse, but I kinda doubt.

Fix the problem, not the symptom. Get rid of the welfare state and create an environment similar to when USAhog's relatives came over. (BTW hog, judging from the immigration statistics, I am taking that bet your relatives were not here in 1678). I am all for changing the welfare state back to the way it was. i'm an exec in the hi-tech space. i know the Mexifornia issues because i pay a lot of attentetion being from the east coast & i live them. Some of the stuff in the forum is entertaining. but for the most part it seems to be frequented by losers. i guess that makes me one too...LOL! I like most of the cigar talk and love the girly pictures. the other crap just depicts a scary demographic of cigar smokers...FAT out of shape LOSERS (Rush Limbaugh or Cigar Dave anyone?..also check out pictures of the CI contingent at th RTDA) About half of the BOTL I meet are kool people. Lots of others are highly suspect. I'm more from de Ahnold school...work hard play hard...but don't hurt anybody...do your own thing..you know? I can also admit my own hippocracy. In order to keep the USA great we have to CHECK our own kind when they get out of line and not wait for SO-CALLED racial minorities(and not for long) or liberals to do it alone.

Umm Duck... I didn't deny anything... LMAO!! I'm 2nd generation Irish and lily white. And I try not to be bigoted. However, I believe that everyone is bigoted and it's all a matter of degree. That's just my philosophy. Go to any public place. You will see people of different backgrounds intermingling, however, in a cafeteria for instance, blacks sit with Blacks, Whites with Whites, Asian with Asian, etc... it doesn't make people "hateful" to enjoy interaction with other more like them. I believe it's just the way we're wired... Look at the birds, crows with crows, robins with robins, blue jays with blue jays, etc…

That's not to say that true racism does not exist. We all know that's not true. But I believe that too many people are way too quick to pull the trigger on that word, way too quick. And almost always it's someone saying that white people are racists. Ever hear of Lewis Farican (sp)?and his ilk?
