The reasons used to send them there were fabricated, period. Their dying was NOT needless in the microscopic view....if they died protecting one another, it was NOT needless. If they died because of an over zealous/careless INDIVIDUAL,..........get the picture?

Robby, was he letting down his commrades by protesting? It would seem to me his protests were an attempt to STOP his commrades from dying. I am aware of Mrs. Fonda's deplorable actions, but was Kerry by her side (NO) or just protesting because of what he had experienced.

I think it was in this post maybe a few posts up, or somewhere else, I said ::i do not support bush, BUT I do support the WAR and the TROOPS.

Sonny, Lots of people drinking the Bush Kool-aid around here. This is just the most idiotic guilt by association thing with Kerry and Fonda. I really wonder if these Bush supporters also think the Vietnam war was a worthwhile successful cause in our country. I guess if you drink enough of that Kool-aid you can defy every historian in the world who ultimately assess the Vietnam War as a failure and embarrassment for the United states. Interesting parallel to Iraq too. Think history will assess it in the same way as Vietnam?? The Kool-aid is real good inspiration for revisionist history.

As far as the Skull and Bones conspiracy theory stuff. I really have great difficulty with the notion that we are ruled by what amounts to a college frat boy organization that's a bit more secretive than the average frat. I just don't buy into it.

Listen, Kerry has obviously connected to democratic voters through his speeches, his town meetings, his positions and ability to deliver them in speeches and connect with his audiences. He certainly has connected with me and I took along time to observe the candidates carefully. The voters are making their judgments this year and the results will tell all. But obviously Kerry is doing something right given the recent results and on that point every pundit in the media conservative or liberal is in complete agreement.
