Just thought i would say high Liz.

No greed or disrespect. Just found it interesting that the only time we here anything about this is when I ask if people "actually" were able to adopt cigars or if this was for some other purpose.

The kosher thing to do is to let people know what is going on. I can see now why this activity was pulled from another board.

Smelly, if you have a problem or maybe would like all the facts, you can email me directly at [email protected]. Maybe you can explain that "greed" remark.

LOL, Liz and Clive are great people and I would never even think or suspect them doing anything with "recieved" cigars, other than smoking them and enjoying them together.

Maybe greed wasn't the word, but when anything that is "Sent"...unless it is an out-right trade...why would anyone ever Expect something back, or cause flack on the originators B-Day of all times?

as for you Dr J I wish you would get your facts straight it was ME that asked Frankie to take off the DRAS post from the board because of all the bs that was happening over it. I also asked him to remove my apology post as well. Once again you can't tell your own butt from your ear canal. I do not nor will I ever put what goes on in my personal life for everyone to see. That is why when you brought up the issue of asking if anyone had received any adoptees yet I asked all those that wanted to know why nothing had been sent out to email me and I would explain. Those that emailed me got a full explanation of what was going on. Those that didn't either didn't want to intrude (which it wouldn't have been), didn't care, trusted me enough to know that I would keep my word or just decided to be patient. Your policing of my business is neither wanted or needed. I have explained things to you in personal email and that should have sufficed, but no you have to keep digging it up which offends me greatly. YOU seem to be the only one doing it - hmmmmmmmm makes one ponder. Notice no one says anything until YOU do. Another hmmmmmmm so do me a favor and stay out of my business, if anyone has a problem with not getting any adoptees they can email me and tell me themselves and I will explain the reasons. So do me a favor Dr J LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I was not paying attention, but I sent my DRs to Liz because she said she was willing to adopt them and to give some to others. I didn't expect her to have to field multiple requests from a large number of people.

I, personally, expected Liz and Clive to enjoy cigars that they like or to give them to others if they didn't like them.

I just don't see a problem here.

Like I knew it was her B-Day right! I have a matrix of everyone who smokes cigars so be prepared to be called out on your birthday. How ludicrous.

Simple suggestion: Follow through on what you said you were going to do. Don't beg for cigars under certain pretenses and then fade into the woodwork until someone asks what the hell is going on.

Liz, I will apologize for one thing. I apologize that I asked you that question on your birthday. I hope that you were able to enjoy it. If everything is above board then there should not have been a problem......right!!

Do what you like. Frankly, I could really careless. Just take time and go back to the people who also posted after my initial inquiry and at least answer them. After all, they are the ones that emailed you wanting to adopt cigars.

And BTW, I think that Clive is a class act! I have never questioned anything about him and have found him to be nothing but generous.

darn I missed this whole thing...I hate when that happens.....

All I can say, is that I see some folks who have nothing better to do than spread vituperate, and villify those who have no evil intentions other than a wish to foster the spirit of goodwil and brotherhood among the BOTL. Liz has no job, but looks after me full time. She wished to send cigars that some folks had "outgrown" the taste of, or got carried away with what they thought was a bargan, to those that like her, would like to expand their base of experience and maybe find some pearls among the swine. For instance, I know a guy at work who is a great fan of Lone Wolfs! I find that with a good amount of age, Ras Tafaris are a pretty decent cigar! So one mans dog rocket is another mans decent daily gar! I am underwriting the shipping of Liz' project, and as I'm still going through a divorce, funds tighten up once in awhile. It may not be anyone else's business, but there it is! So I'm just getting caught up on the birthday bombs I've been needing to get out, and I still owe a couple of Nascar bets, and I'll be caught up on what I "owe" and can just send out some of Liz' DRAS packages. So the lack of shipping is as much MY fault as Liz', and if you want to question her integrity, you are questioning mine! The only difference between you questioning my integrity, or you calling Liz' into question is that my father taught me that when kicked by a jackass, to consider the source.

As this has been told you in private emails, and you continued your character assassinations against Liz on these boards. I have chosen to publicize my personal business so as to lay to rest any ugly rumors you seem intent on starting and or spreading. My question is why an answer in private was not enough to satisfy your intrest? Is it that you are not happy unless you can spread some hate and discontent, or sow suspicion amongst friends that you cast your aspersions towards people who have done you no wrong? Get a life! Maybe then you will find other interests than finding those too sensitive to ignore your inuendoes to torment!

My intent was never to have YOU expose anything. You know that I have no beef for you and have the ultimate respect as a BTOL. Liz is another matter. She created her own issues by mooching beyond reproach on not just this board but another. I asked her privately to tone it down as others were taking issues. Instead, she chose to label me has the malcontent.

All she had to do was follow through. As I mentioned in an earlier post others were asking where their cigars were.

I am sorry that you are going through personal issues. All of us have things we have to deal with. But to come on a board and create some type of cigar donation program and then just vanish for a month is suspicious. Then to respond to a question and then vanish for another month does not help.

I will not drudge this up any further. I would just be curious what you would think of someone who had perpetuated this if she was not your significant other?

Why, I wonder would all these fine BOTL come to YOU who I don't beleive was a presence known on this board prior to a month or two ago, to ask about Liz' motives, when I made no secret that she and I were associated? Do I email you to ask what Aznaries had for breakfast? Let me open this to discussion, IS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO HAS ASKED THIS MAN ABOUT LIZ' INTENTIONS? I think you like to spread inuendoes and discontent, and use these gambits (well, everybody has been discussing this with me....) to make your own petty suspicions seem like widespread beliefs. First you attacked Cavallo, and then Liz, then you went back to Cavallo, and now you are back to Liz again. PACK SAND you jerk! Now I suppose "everyone" will be emailing you and asking if Cavallo is my "other significant other" JEEZ! Is there not enough hate and discontent on the Torano boards that you have to try to cultivate more here? As I said before, my situation had been explained to you in private emails, and that was not enough to cause you to cease and desist your snide comments and your suggestions of malfeasance. So, since I'm not especially ashamed of going through what many guys on here have been through (the classic money-wringer, a divorce) I figured I'd put what I told you in privat into the same public forum you seem bent on using to try to ruin the reputations of innocents on.
