What are we doing with the numbers not picked???
Since Liz get the #43 position, that will leave 6 positions not claimed for this week?

I suggest that you put everyones name in the hat and pull out the names for the remaining drivers. (That would be 6 for this week). Yes some would not get an extra driver. Then out of the 6 names pulled, pull the numbers for the extra starting positions.

Just a thought, but we need to divide up the extra positions somehow. Anybody have any thoughts?

In an effort to give everyone an even chance, I thought it best to have every player assigned the same number of drivers, so there will inevitably be a few leftover drivers (unless we have 13 or 43 players). We're really just playing for the best finishing position of the eligible drivers, so we may not have to win the race to win the pool.

Now Liz has one more because she's kinda playing twice. She has 43rd because she was helping out pulling the number (I don't own 43 blank sheets of paper, ha ha). Then, she also wanted to play, so she's in there with the rest of us. I don't expect many 43rd place qualifiers to be competing for the win, but you never know. . . . . . .

Liz, there's an error in the numbers. Clive & DJDestruct both have #21. . . . . Also, Cigartaster wants in, and we do have enough spots left.

Here's what's left: 1, 4, 22, 24, 39, 41, 42. . .
Seeing as DJ's best position is only 19, how about leaving Clive with the 21, and giving DJ #1? Doesn't bother me. . . Then we could give 4, 22, 24, 39, to Cigartaster. . . Leaving #41 & #42 as the only two leftovers. . . How's everyone feel?

Qualifying begins at 6:10 est, so we've got a coupla hours to straighten this out. . .
