Here's a great piece of info: last race, two weeks ago, the winner, Matt Kenseth, started in 23rd position. . . . so, don't anyone despair over low numbers. . . .

exactly! you never know what is going to happen in a race - someone else's misfortune could turn the tide around - good pit stops, cautions at the right time, you name it - and it could bring someone from the back right into the thick of things!

some of them drivers "sand-bag" so the competition won't know till raceday !!

Just finished qualifying. Rookie Kahne on the pole. Lotsa good drivers in the 20's. Gordon, Jr, Martin, Marlin, Jarrett. Be about half an hour to make sure it's official, and I'll post our drivers.

Good lineup BD, but I wouldn't write off anybodys lineup. I'm not even giving up on mine! Burtons a proven performer, and Harvick was doing pretty good at Daytona! RDK has the last winner, and Biffle was challenging too! Better pick out what you're about to send me! LOL

Prediction:
Kyle Petty does not see the end of the race. If that guy wasn't the son of a legend he would never have a ride. Plus he owns the team, that helps!! Kind of like little league when the coaches son was always the pitcher or quarterback!!!

One minor change, is the 43rd starter has been changed to Sheperd. For some reason, Nascar flip-flopped him and Shelmerdine originally.

So, Liz gets Morgan Sheperd with #43.
