E-1 airman with 90 days service
E-3 private
E-4 corporal.

i got to E-4 once for a few weeks and got an article 15 down to an E-3 and was finally honorably discharged as an E-2 after a few more article 15's. always because of insubordination.

I like to tell the little brats that this is the military... while we defend freedom and democracy, we do NOT practice it. You do as I say. Period.

I guess all I can say is, if the shoe pinches then you can take offense (talk about mixed metaphors!).

MACS - I just wanted to make sure that you keep posting. 99% of the folks here are helpful, pleasant, and witty (see - Pablo, Bloody, Liz, Robby, MrTelCom, etc.)
I also want to extend a big THANKS to you and to all vets who are willing to put your lives on the line to protect the rights and liberties that allow all of the rest of us knuckleheads the freedom to post our opinions (no matter how mean or wrongheaded).

Remember that even though some of us do not support the war, all of America is proud of and supports our men in uniform!!!

thanks for the kind words Kaz - usually I am witty and friendly and sweet and lovable and kind, but then there are times when I can be the queen Bytch of the universe. or the queen of mood swings LOL I'm getting better at just telling the screen off and flipping it the bird - stops me from telling people off and helps me get my anger out. ranting and raving to Clive helps too LOL he listens to me, tells me to calm down and then I usually get over it USUALLY there are times on another board that the ranting and raving continues, but I had an epiphany the other day - what good does it do to get upset over something? it isn't going to change what was said or done - so ignoring it should be the best course of action and I'm going to try to do that from now on. I have enough to worry about than something said on a board from someone I'm not ever going to meet. 🙂 Life is too damn short to let people get to you.

That sure is a funny attitude to have with people you want to be friends with. I've been on these forums for so long, that most of these people are my friends ... and many are pretty good friends.

This IS real life ... with real people ... and sure just as in real life, there are those who I could care less about ... and we go our seperate ways. Those I consider just aquaintances, not friends. I wouldn't be so quick to put all here into one catagory.

Maybe YOU will never meet ayone here, and you are able to cloak yourself from any responsibility of what is said or what you say ... but many people here have met up and got together, and continue their friendships outside of these forums. Many good and lasting friendships have formed ... and all because of these forums.

Thanks, but if you go back and actually look at what I wrote at first...it was witty. Only took a few moments to let him know about the board and then he comes back chest-thumping that he's "right" and that he can post where he wants. After that...a melee. Then this Kazama bloke tries to stick his nose in and ruffle feathers. See, he didn't like the fact that I prefer ISOM's to CAO products and told everyone why. He thought it was some rant without looking at the facts, but then again he described himself as hiding behind an internet ID and acting like a coward.

As far as the tough guy bit...nobody listens to The Jerky Boys? I think that anyone that comes to this part of the world and wants to become a little bit informed as to where to buy/smoke/eat/drink would be thrilled to hook up with a person like me.

Reread what I said - I said my problems was from ANOTHER BOARD - not this one - and was just putting it out here - my way of saying not to get upset over things. I realize a lot of people do meet up with each other - but then again most times when you fight with someone online you aren't ever going to meet that other person. I have people that I consider family in a chat program that I use - for the most part I don't anticipate ever getting to meet them. Unlike here where you have cigar fests and herfs etc, there is no get togethers. And if it wasn't for the cigar fests etc not many of us would get the chance to meet each other either - unless we lived in the same area or were business travelers etc. I didn't mean it to come out the wrong way. was just my way of saying if someone pisses someone off - to just let it go - not let it get you upset etc because life is too short and there is more important things to worry about.

For instance my mom and step dad and their dog and mine and my mom's cat have no where to go. They got kicked out of where they did live because they had no money to pay the lot rent, then they went to nc where my step dad had some work. they came back to va to get stuff out of their storage shed and then traveled back to nc only to find out that only my step dad was welcome - my mom and the animals were not - so they turned right around and came back to va - with no place to go. now THAT is something to WORRY about - not what someone may say to you on a message board. Sorry if this rubs anyone the wrong way -

I happen to consider many people on here as my friends and great BOTLs who have been nothing but kind and friendly and helpful and very generous to me since I joined this forum. I did not mean to insinuate I didn't care - since I wasn't talking about this board to begin with. I'm sorry that I didn't make that fact clearer. I was just trying to make the point that one shouldn't get overly upset like I did once about what is posted here.

Actually derMad one, what I object to is you being a posting bully. Most people are basically nice and will not get in a confrontation with people who are aggressive. You know this and take advantage of it and I think it is rude. You dislike it because I call you on it. And then you call me names and act even more rudely and prove my point. That kind of posting makes you appear to be a small, petty person.

In the previous post I did not disagree with your choice of cigars. What I did take issue with was your arrogance (setting yourself up as the TRUE cigar aficionado), your slander (claiming that Jon@CAO and the CAO company BOUGHT their ratings), your ignorance
(claiming that CAO's are the same cigars as Torano's et al, simply rebanded!?), and slander once again, claiming CAO's buying of their high ratings was like the radio payola scandels.

After reading your posts I would never expect you to stick with the truth, but you forget that people can read and comprehend what has been written. Or perhaps you are just confused. Go back and reread.
