Well guys, we're half way through. Check your box pass time line and adjust for the box leaving Oregon on Monday and probably will not get to castlewa until Thursday, April 1. That's no joke. Turnberry- are you still planning on picking up the box from castlewa on the weekend?

castlewa- get ready brother. Have you considered putting extra supports under your porch? From what these Oregonians put in that box... oh man. Let's see what kind of damage Washington BOTL can do to that box.

To be honest I am petrified!!!! I will have to leave the box on the reinforced concrete in the shop. Now the stage has been set, the lights dim, here comes the box, what do I do, what do I do? Can Washington finish it off right? The horror, the horror......

I have a semi-truck and pup set up next week for a maxi load of KD dimensional hemlock that was set to go south. I will have to cancel the lumber and put the box on instead to get it back down to Seattle. Then Turnberry doesn't have to worry about his rig dragging all the way down I-5! Way to go Oregon BOTL!

I will be shot as a traitor by the rest of this group but what if I trade you the box for the load of KD hemlock:-)

That means they would be very expensive cigars!!!! Kiln dried hemlock or to be more technical 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 Hem S4S KD 10-12% MC, which on a maxi or full sized semi-truck is roughly 30 grand worth of lumber.

Okay guys, I can officially tell you that the BOX is cursed, Yup, I keep hearing voices on my way to the post office that it was mean to be stay with me and not go anywhere. However, being such a nice guy like me I did not listen so I got a flat tire today AFTER I dropped off the BOX in the post office. Can you imagine changing a tire right across the post office in the only DAMN sunny day in Oregon! I was sweating like a pig in my nice dress shirt…….

Anyway here is the delivery confirm number 03030130000129104324, the box weight 13lbs 12.8 oz I have it insured for $300, and because Thom ASS used an oversize box I have to pay a flat 15 lbs shipping fee even those it only weight 13lbs, cost me an extra 50 cents………

1 more thing, I am on a roll here ? SA, I smoke the Cohiba last night and it took me 2 hours because it keeps dying on me I keep dragging an dragging and it was plucked so bad that I keep relighting the damn thing!! I started @ 10 and did not finish till midnight!! (I refuse to give it up). That’s why I was late to work this morning and hence can’t dropped off the box till my lunch break and got a nail on my right front tire and ……….

You know when I was in HK, the shop give you another one if your cigar was plucked or not burning even. I think it is a good rule and we really show do the same here……..

I hate to be a stickler, or even point this out....but keep the DC# through e-mail....especially after naming the type of brand you smoked out of there. Just a word of caution.

Comment about ISOMs for Andy.....my experience has been that you need to let these things stabilize at 65% max RH for awhile before you smoke them. Many of them tend to be rolled fully and the lower RH helps open them up quite a lot. Also helps the flavor and aroma quite a bit as well. I have all my ISOMs in a single small cabinet humi and it stays at 65% permanently.
