Looks like the usual dilemma with travel conflicts is raising its ugly head for me. Chris...I will not be able to make it up north to connect with you and bring the box back to Seattle sadly. I have to be in San Francisco most of the rest of this week and then have Little League conflicts this weekend. So shipping direct to Matt will be the order of business.

To further complicate matters, I will be leaving on vacation 4/8 and not back in town until Saturday 4/18. I suspect the box may have made its rounds with the rest of the WA group well before I'm back. Not sure what to do about that other than watch how the flow progresses and make some decision next week sometime. I am concerned about leaving it with smelly for more than a couple of days as the temptation for skullduggery may be too great for him:-)

I should never have told you guys at the herf my ThomASS story. Too funny.

Andy- What a sucky day. But I think you got it backwards. The box is GOOD luck. You didn't get that flat tire until AFTER you mailed the box. It was definately a pleasure having you on this pass. I hope we meet up again soon.

Nice call smelly, good observation.

On to turnberry, this is all a plot to see how much anticipation I can take isn't it? I'm pretty sure too that the box will have made its rounds well before you get back from vacation. I think that we can trust smelly4tay with the box for as long as need be (right smelly?) until the box can be passed to you. Anybody else have a suggestion?

In yatang's defense, in the box pass rules, rule #8 states "The TRACKING NUMBER MUST be published on the TRADE Forum under our Thread. NO EXCEPTIONS."

So there was no need for an apology Andy.

Dave makes a good point, maybe we all are getting a little too comfortable with ISOM's. Afterall, they are contraband. I don't really want to discuss this issue on this thread, but looking at other box pass threads they post the tracking # with their takes and puts with the exact name of the ISOM's in the box. I'll start a post under cigars and related about this subject. However I think it's a good idea, and let's make a rules change to send the tracking number only through e-mail.

I'm reminded of a t-shirt I saw that read "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone is not out to get you."

The box can be trusted with me. If anything, I will have twice the "puts", and spoil the host with some extras.

I am here to help out. If I need to drive to good ol' Bellingham to do a pick-up or even drive it to it's next destination....when I am done with my plays. LMK, cause we are really kickin-ass with this pass.

I am sorry, Andy. I should have brought it up with Thom to see what he thought first. I am a paranoid dude.

Actually I have the same travel issue as Turnberry in that I'll be gone in vacation between 4/8 and 4/19. Prior to that I may have some ability to come partway up your direction (preferably ASAP!!)

Send me a list of times you could travel down let say to Marysville and I'll try and hook up. (Afternoons and weekend times)

Lets get this pass done asap

Alright, we can get this done ASAP if we bust some serious butt. Can we get through everyone in WA in less than a week? That means the box must be to turnberry no later than Tuesday the 6th. We would have to move that box every day.

Let's project a bit, if castlewa gets the box on Thursday April 1, and the box moved each day, we could have the box to turnberry on the 5th. I'll pick it up on the 6th. No one can sit on it at all.

Andy - Man I feel bad. I've smoked 15 or 20 of those sticks and only had a problem with one. A very tight draw yes, but they all stayed lit. A tight draw was the one knock on this particular cigar. That will teach you to pass a box when it wants to stay home with you! 🙂 Ok, I have two of those left and I owe you one! I sure hope this one is better. BTW, went back to the shop where we did the pass off and you know Charlie wouldn't even come out of the computer room to talk to me. He was playing cards and could'nt be bothered. What's the matter with those people? I've probably spent $1000.00 in there this last 6 months. Guess I'll have to find a new place.

Again, sorry for the dissapointment in the smoke.

If the plan is to push this fast to catch me before I leave on vacation here is the deal....as long as the box gets delivered to me by Tuesday, 4/7 that will work. I can get through it and repackaged Tuesday night and shipped Wednesday morning 4/8 to Thom. Got plenty of time for that since my flight does not leave until late afternoon.

Alternatively I say ship to Thom and skip me. That way I will just be forced to boogey over the pass and herf with Thom in Ellensburg after I get back. Not a bad idea at all:-) Let's not make this difficult for everybody else on my account.

no problem smelly, that's cool!
SA, not your fault either so I would not worry about it. That's Cohiba is hard to come by so you dont have to give me another one. As far as the store, I dont go when Charile is working anymore. Tried M-Tr after 4 pm and F-S is fine too or just go to Shilo if you dont need to pick up anything. Anyway, let me know next time you go so we can go together as well.
Mr. Turnberry, thanks for the advise, I will try to be more patience next time. Thanks.

Turnberry- double check your days and dates (April 6, is Tuesday).

Since I'm last, I'll sit and be patient. If you guys want to move this box fast enough to get it to turnberry by Tuesday that will have to be up to you. But I think it can be done if there is motivation.

Can anybody tell I have too much going on right now? Thanks for the catch Tom I was a day off which adds a day flexibility. I can get it as late as Wednesday next week and still get it off to Thom before I leave.

My plans are to go up to Marysville and meet up with Chris to get the package down here for the Seattle Group. I need confirmation from Chris that this Friday afternoon is ok for him between 4:30 and 5:00pm at Mickey D's by the freeway and the old casino. I'll be wearing a Black CAO hat.

Since I'll have things on Friday night I'll do my puts and gets that night and then pass it on to the next person, who can come pick up the package at my place on Saturday. Is that Turnberry, or Smelly or who....?? (I think it's Turnberry and were simply trading places because of the circumstances.)

Anyway.... hopefully this gets the action rolling and moving forward.

Again, just waiting for CastleWa and a Confirmation that a pass in Marysville on Friday afternoon works for him.

OK.... who would be after me?

Let's look down the list.. I'm cool with not getting the box until after turnberry's return, smelly is cool with holding the box, and turnberry is fine with not getting his turn until after his trip. So, as long as dbguru gets his turn before he leaves, flyboy and smelly4tay shouldn't feel rushed or that they must move the box ASAP, unless they wish to. Freedom of choice 🙂

Dennis is next in the sequence then Smelly.
