I dont know what a pass would be like without the NJ boys.

I dont know what is going on and have never had dealings with gamelover but I thought this should be checked out before you guys kick off your pass.

I don't know who Kevin7 is but I'll vouch for Gamelover. I had an excellent trade with him a few weeks ago. He's a BOTL and a stand up stader....

Ok that is 9 people. We will keep it there. What I want to do is throw everyone's name in a hat and then pull them out. That would be the order. What usually happens is a box pass is keep in a coast to coast order. I would like to mix that up, if this is alright with everyone? Please let me know what you all think.

It's your pass, so do whatever you want for the order. It would be the luck of the draw for who gets it next. A coast to coast does make more sense for travel time and shipping, but I'm up for anything. I'd hate for the same people to be first or last.

i dont know whats up with Kevin7,
that was his only post on the board, and
i think gamelover is a great trader.
i have done about six trades with him and they have all been great trades.
i will stand up for gamelover.
i dont know who Kevin7 is, but he can take his attitude elsewere.

I'm not in this pass, but I agree with Hdking. . .

Gamelover has 57 positive comments on the other site, Kevin has 4. . . . . and apparently, the "outing" is on a private board, that requires special permission to read. . .

. . . maybe they did have a bad experience with one another, but 57 other cigar smoker's say otherwise. . . from talking to Gamelover, he seems like a stand up guy, so unless I see something that proves otherwise, I would vouch for him also. . .

I will add, that this is a hot topic on a LOT of boards. K7 is well respected on other boards, and I think he went out of his way to "warn" this pass based on his experience.
I personally don't have any direct experience with GL, but from what I have read, there are a lot of good trader comments, and a few bad ones. IF the bad ones have validity, he must be aware of them by now, and hopefully have learned. If not, well, time will answer that one.

I posted the link from HP because I have been doing this cigar trading thing a long time and there are some good people that I know in this pass. There were two topics dedicated to gamelover, combined they have had close to 5,000 hits in about a week. He may be a great guy, I dont know him from Adam. I do know that a good pass like this one involves alot of cigars/money and I just wanted my BOTL to be informed. P.S: Herfers Paradise is not a private BB, you just need to register and log in just like this one.

I didnt know my little pass would generate such a fuss. I thought I would start a pass because I just moved into a new house and I thought this would be a good way to start it off.
I am planning on giving gamelover a chance. Thanks to everyone for their input but I will make the decision. I dont think I will get burned.
I plan on getting some humi bags on friday and will get everything ready over the weekend. I will send the box to the 1st person on Monday overnight, so they will get it on Tuesday. I will post the lineup soon.
