BTW, I could have bought a vette long ago. Seriously, every one I've ever sat in has a foot well that is too small for my size 14 boats. Not my fault, and it's not like that's something you can doctor up in a car. Well, not without a lot of work and/or money, which seems kinda pointless to me at that stage.

I like Corvettes just fine...although if I had my pick, I'd be partial to my birth year, '63, but only with the splitback window intact. They just never look right when someone farks with the rear glass.

Pac - I know you were messing and truth be told I'd sit down and eat pancakes with you. I'm also telling you that every week my neighbor gets in my Vette and goes golfing and he is 6'4" 375lbs. He is so big that he needs a seat belt extender,and if you ask him why it's because of his huge shoulders. HA

Your neighbor is a little bigger than I am. My trouble with vettes really has always been the foot well. I've driven some, from the 70's, where I literally cannot get a foot on the gas w/out having it hit the brakes, too (I used to work in a garage while putting myself through college, so I drove a few).

I can fit a Mustang...not a ton of spare room, but I fit. I just can't downsize my boats.
