Folding is more efficient. It gives you a better wipe and uses less paper per dump.

a secondary question, a spin off of your first question.

do you wash our hands before or after, and justify your reason.

Fold (with Northern single-roll only, not double)

That way you can re-fold.

At work, do you dispense the paper before or after you wash your hands?

HOLY TOILTE PAPER BATMAN.... i am the only "wadder".. i must attempt this new form of "FOLDING" .. i fear the "thiness" of the fold will present a problem.. if not simply a feel issue.

I must try the fold... will post a review later!! LMAO!! HAAAAAAAAAA

The problem with wadding, as I see it, is that there is ALWAYS a chance that your finger is protected by only ONE ply!

With folding, you are protected by at least two; and up to 14 plys (I am told you cannot fold paper more than seven times).

Folding also allows for adjustment of thickness based on diet.

For example;

If I had dined exclusively on high fiber foods and cheese, one fold will suffice.

If I had dined on sauerkraut, bean, jalapeno and butter casserole, then four or five folds is a good idea for maximum protection from potential caustic material.

just my $0.02.

I'm on the Wad Team.

Although in times of hemorrhoidal tissue inflammation, I tend to go with the Fold, and then use the Dab Method- more smooth and less crinkle on the 'work surface' with the Fold Method there.

Different tools for different jobs.

complete folder here. wading is almost..... dirty. It seems that you are smeering things everywhere, you have no idea where anything is. Folding is just another word for control.
