Marianna

You could call her MTV...

I would consider skipping a middle name too.

Makes people crazy for years as they try to guess.

How about Andy Marie Lane? I always found it to be cool when a girl had a guys name. Plus one of my favorite actresses is Andy McDowell. I just love her in Ground Hogs Day.

The other name that came to mind was Heather Marie Lane.

I don't envy you. I had two boys, and it seemed easier to name a boy than a girl in my opinon. We know we want boys to have strong, masculine names. Girls names run a much wider gambit.

Good luck.

Andy,

Congrats Man... Does this make 2 girls??? February 28th is a very special day - my son was born on that day, so we have something in common. That should win a contest right there. lol

How about...

Brandice Nichole

(Brandy for short)

(I was considering GurkaGirl - but I thought that was stretching it just a little bit)

Way to go... Dad! (have you figured out what causes that yet?)

think of how you and your wife met. think of what you were doing or where you were. make her a reminder of the beginning of the family, itself. my wife and i met at a place on a road called mason road. my second son is named mason. it's not too common, but it's not too uncommon, either. most important, it's significant to the beginning of our family. you'll never make the whole family happy because you can't use everyone's name. we didn't even try it.
