btw, Zero 7 "simple things" cd. killer laid back cigar smoking music which is best listened to in a room with minimal soft lighting. the music is welllll, best described as a mish mosh of electronica/jazz/soul.

Rick, I am happy to inform you that Frank Sinatra left the Democrats and went Republican when Ronald Regan ran for President, in fact he spoke for Regan at the Republican Convention in Kanass City! Blue Eyes saw the light and joined the Republican party!

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen. At first you don't remember the 80's being this bleak, but as you listen you are reminded of all the great things (cold war, farm forclosures, etc) that were going on. Another perennial favorite that is on current heavy play list is Trinity Sessions by the Cowboy Junkies. Talk about the ultimate in mood music, the cover of Sweet Jane is so far beyond the original that it can't even be compared to it.

"Black Eyed Man" was another great Junkies CD. Are they still recording?

My duaghter gave me the Norah Jones CD as a birthday gift. She knows my tastes in music better than anyone. BTW, Mr. Sinatra bolted the Democrats after JFK double crossed him twenty years before the Reagan nomination.
