Sounds like a real pain in the a$$.

Back on topic.... I can usually only fit only 4 cigars in my 5 count with the foam in. I can fit 5 petit coronas or lanceros.

Comrade, you are really rusty. Even you CAN do better than this lame crap. Think about how the illegals have destroyed your trade, your welfare check, and get back to me tomorrow.

I do miss the weekly press releases from DNN (Drywall News Network) about the record high stock prices, give-away prices on fuel, the rebounding economy, the job outlook, lack of inflation, etc.

I'm sure he's been so busy with yet another record year of building new McMansions to keep up with the housing boom. The good part is that he can resign as El Presidente Bobblehead's spin secretary next year. There will be no need after Nov. 2012.

Me, I'm still using an Otterbox I bought on here years ago. Like when they first came out. One of the larger ones that can haul 15 or so cigars. Lot of travel time. I do need a smaller one, though. My future SIL has one that can haul 6 around that would be about right. I think he got that when he was deployed in Afghanistan.

I also like Atkins friendly cheesecake, which is just cheesecake without the graham cracker crust. Found out I don't miss the crust. Nice cup of black coffee with it.

Supposed to be almost 60 here again today.

I wonder if that hot chick who just walked by my office window works here, or if she's applying for a job here.

I need more coffee.

The responses to the OP are classic- where is every-one's sense of humor (if not with the tongue and cheek article, then with Rick's continuous, never-ending ploys)? Sure, Rick is just trying to shake things up a bit, but not to hurt anyone, just to get another political conversation going...

BTW,

I have had great success with lining the inside of my 15-count portable humi with cedar from the sheets that separate the two rows of cigars in dress boxes. Get rid of the foam inserts so that it will hold more cigars. Just use a dab of odorless glue or cement and let it sit open for a day or two to make sure the odor dissipates. You may find that it is a better way to store your cigars in the box and that the box will maintain humidity a little bit better. I keep mine packed 24/7/365 so that if I am leaving to got somewhere where I will be smoking cigars, I just grab the box and go. No time consuming chore of choosing what to bring. Cheers- gtgt work!

#22, Actually, stocks are doing quite well over the past two years, gas is still below 2008 levels, and unemployment is waning, albeit slowly. My modest portfolio is finally back where it was just before it all bottomed out, and if there is a present threat to the markets it is driven by the earthquake and its aftereffects. I can only hope the boards will forgive the sin of equanimity.

Glad it's all good for you Fiddler. Removing my tongue from cheek for a moment, you might want to add the Middle East being on fire, rising inflation, run-away record debt, continued devaluation of the dollar, and energy costs for most businesses as additional threats to your market portfolio.

As for unemployment, that micro-downtick you saw last month was as much due to people giving up and walking away from the job market (or their unemployment running out so they dropped off the radar) as the economy rebounding. And before this year's over with, you'll forget all about those 2008 gas prices.

And yeah, I hope I'm wrong as hell on all counts.

My expectations are very low. We are way too far south but it still could be fun. I don't think I could actually use them for anything more than aroma because I can't trust the AAUs.

The 1st year is zero yield

After that you could be in for some fun.

Soil samples taken in could help you out. I was going to do this, but am looking at doing it next year when I'm more "settled".

You know Mark has a friend in Oregon that grows hops...supposed to get them in this fall...baskets full from what Mark said...dry hopping could be fun.
