Just prior to, and for several months after, the election in '08, the checkout counter rags at Kroger and Wal-Mart were loaded wtih "Obama Gay Scandal" headlines. It was split evenly with "Michelle Suicidal over Barack's Affair with Oprah".

I kinda miss that. Gave me something to live for when I went grocery shopping.

I agree with rfenst. I didn't like it when folks went after Nancy, Barbara, Hillary (with a vengance), Laura, and now Michelle (which seems to be even more aggressive than usual). It is really pretty low class... and I know low class... its my element LOL.

I knew a guy tht had either an oil painting or a very high def sticker (I don't know which) of Barbara Bush arounbd the hole in his toilet. Her mouth was actually the hole. It was weird. He thought it was pretty cute. I never understood how someone couldn't like babs. His right but I still think he is an idiot.

As for the nutrition thing its weird to see folks think that's bad. And even nutritionists allow for some junk food along the way. Just encourage more fruits veggies etc. If you honestly see that as a reason to be upset at her then good on you. But it seems less than a genuine reason.
