Tuck Andress - Reckless Precision
One-half of the jazz duo Tuck & Patti, his guitar playing is nicely showcased in his first solo album.

Tuck and Patti - Tears of Joy
Bought this on a whim years ago and was pleasantly impressed.

Gabby Pahinui & Leland "Atta" Isaacs - Two Slack Key Guitars

An all-time slack key guitar album with one of my all-time favorite songs:

The Waimea Music Festival

A 1974 live recording on the Big Island of some traditional and contemporary Hawaiian artists. Ends, of course with Aunty Genoa Keawe doing "Alika".

Not the performance from the Festival but a great version nonetheless:

Daryl Hall & John Oates
A comp disc of their early years, 1972 to 1976.

I never heard of them until “Abandoned Luncheonette” came out in late 1973 but really enjoyed “Las Vegas Turnaround (The Stewardess Song)” and the album and group grew on me, Never thought they would become so huge in the early to mid ‘80s.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that album. I cannot just listen to one track. It's THE album that made me a fan of theirs. The ridicule others would try to shade me on when I'd be listening to them...I couldn't understand. Good music is good music regardless of the genre...and besides my tastes in music are all over the pallet...Classical to Hip Hop, Rock, Ska, Rasta, Punk, Funk, Indie and all points in between!

Nothing right now but plan on putting on some Hendrix later on. Passed away 54 years ago on this day.

I had just seen him in his last American concert 17 days before. 😢
