The 2m red. Generally considered entry level to mid, but dang those things get pricey

For me, it's an upgrade, and I belive my first elliptical needle. Clear sounds and good bass, so I'm happy

The TT decision was agonizing fer sure. I do like the Hitachi I picked up though

Glad to hear (…pun intended…). 👍

Not too many options for a good used TT in my neck of the woods so I’mma kinda, sorta leaning towards buying a new Dual 329. Fully automatic (…’cause I’mma lazy SOB…🤣 ) and quite frankly, I don’t need esoteric stuff to fret about. Additionally, I still find CDs to be the most convenient medium for my listening habits so don’t think I’d spend hours and hours in one place just for music.

I agree. Most convenient physical form anyway. I "downsized" my cd collection by ditching the plastic cases and getting individual sleeves. Cd on one side and cover paperwork/liner notes on the other. Now I've got 100s of albums in one tabletop case

Hmm, not a bad idea. Mebbe when I get my chit together, paint that extra bedroom and bring my CD racks back, I can entertain creative ways of “downsizing” my collection too.
