Alright, I'm not a fan of Obama, but this stoops a little low. In some cultures, dog isn't taboo, and he was partially raised in this and was served it as a child. I'm not sure you can really hold that against him, and you certainly don't have to protect pet dogs from his bloodlust.

Did you know some cultures view pig the way we view dog? I was 13 before I ate pork.

^ depends on if it is fresh or has "that".......um.

You know when the butcher puts the red 50% off sticker on seafood? Pu$$y should have that too.

Maybe like a butter ball turkey how it has the "pop out" red button?

Ya know, in all seriousness, it *is* sort of a cultural thing. Like when -- instead of just eating the angel hair pasta, Native Americans don't waste anything. They eat the whole angel.

What does Obama call a greyhound? Fast food.

What will be his next "summit" meal?

Puppy-roni pizza?

German Shepard Pie?

It's funny, because the left went bonkers over the Romney dog crate "scandal", yet they are now retreating into a fetal position and claiming this means nothing.

Liberals must all be bisexual, because they are constantly wanting it both ways.

do yall really pay attention or put any weight into "issues" such as this (either the Romney peice or Obama)? No wonder we are in trouble. Rest easy little pawns.

I see teedubbya is still on his high horse...he's above all the pawns in here, yet for some reason he sticks around. I wonder what it's like to go through life thinking your head and shoulders above everyone else when you're not.

The way I see it, we're discussing the issue because it's funny.
I don't think anyone who has posted on this thread has changed their vote for or against either candidate based on these issues.

But if you pay attention to what AMERICA is thinking, the Romney dog crate scandal DID impact the poll numbers. So called dog lovers everywhere were outraged until the canine-du-jour excerpt was read aloud by puppy-breath himself.

This is not unlike the whole "contraceptive" issue that have stupid women everywhere hating on Romney for reasons unknown and/or imagined.

The media sells it and you live the role.

Man I forgot about this thread.

Complain to the left wing nut jobs who are trying to lynch Romney for actually taking his dog on family vacations.

Hey I didn't say the other side doesn't stoop low too. Just no reason to meet them there. If everyone would stop caring about the mud-slinging, they'd stop doing it. They only do it because it works.

Are you Lebanese muslim, Z? Just curious. I know that there are almost as many Christians there as there are muslims.
At times in the Spanish civil war & later throughout Europe during WWII , my mother told me that horses & dogs were eaten quite often.

I'm not, but pigs are not eaten there regardless of your religious upbringing. My dad was sickened by the idea of eating pig for a long time and did not allow us to eat it either.

And I believe it about horses and dogs during wartime. It's hard to figure out why some cultures eat certain animals with impunity but others are taboo, which such large swings between different parts of the world. Should the world really crumble, no animal would be safe. We can be picky now due to our excess.

It's also interesting how the use of certain creatures as food can flip in public opinion so quickly, such as lobster and oysters.
