More Secret Service agents expected to be fired, AP source

A federal official familiar with the investigation into misconduct by Secret Service officers in Colombia tells The Associated Press that at least three additional employees will lose their jobs.

The official says an announcement is expected later Friday.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity and was not authorized to speak publicly before an official announcement.

Eleven Secret Service employees were put on administrative leave last week following an incident in Colombia that involved at least some of the agency personnel bringing prostitutes to their hotel room.

The employees were in Cartagena, Colombia, setting up security for President Barack Obama's three-day visit to the Summit of the Americas

I did. I assume the reason they are only showing her pic (that I am aware of) is because the others must've been pretty fugly. The media picks the best of the bunch, shows it, and encourages replies from men everywhere (married and not) saying "can you blame the secret service guys?" [frypan] The world would be a better place if it weren't for all these humans. 😁

Just the fact that they were out drinking (heavily) the day before the POTUS arrives should be enough to get them fired IMO. if i was a supervisor, none of my agents would be drinking at all on business trips. it isnt like you are there to socialize and make friends. you are there to protect people and need 100% of your wits and fitness, not be hungover from the night before staying out late, drinking in excess.

If they are married, they won't want to stay at home. Of course, their wives (if married) will probably put them on forced retirement...without benefits.
