But no matter. Notes are not why Obama got hammered. Nor is it because he is an arrogant jerk who has listened to his own attack ads so many times he started taking them as truth. Figuring he could just phone it in and that'd be good enough.

Hey... like I said at the beginning, I think Romney would have won that debate without notes, Obama did not look like he had his sh&t together at all (for the short period I watched).

I just find the idea that he cheated (or perhaps he didn't) pretty damn ballsy. I mean, the most televised event in the nation that day, and he may have been sneaking in some crib notes. Huge set of balls.

No idea if that's true. Didn't watch most of the debate. The notepad definitely was present for them to make notes..... you can see it at the podium before they go up to it.


definitely agree that notes had no impact on him getting his ass handed to him. He didn't perform well. The only way he could have won would be if Romney performed horribly, unlikely even without notes.
