True story ..... when I met her she didn't have much money and was raising two kids. She had one cheap (kmart brand) chefs knife that she used for everything. Cutting meat, opening cans, as a screw driver, cutting small limbs (trees not the kids, defrosting the freezer, etc)...... we still have the knife....

she thought she could use my good knives like that.... we had a tussle... afterwards I admitted she could do what she wants and I', frightened of her but requested that she not do so as her decision not because I requested it.

...and great knife story! LOL! I think that's a woman thing. Wife and mom find more uses for knives than that pocket fisherman with the built- in cork screw.
