You say you are for it, yet you put down and stereotype the people that use it? Some people do us MMJ because it does taste good - a lot better than tobacco. Guess you've never heard of edibles that don't involve smoking at all. And yes the effect is the goal the same as smoking a cigar, cigarette, or drinking a beer.

If you only drink beer for the enjoyment of the beverage itself, then switch to non-alcoholic beer. For some people two beers and they are drunk. Individual tolerances are different. And even though you only drink one beer with zero buzz factor as you say, the alcohol still has its effects & impairments just as taking a single toke will. Face it, you drink a beer not just for the taste but also the effect. If you had 2 beers with lunch, left the pub and got in an accident, although below DUI limits the alcohol will make the situation a lot worse as far as the police and insurance are concerned. I find it completely hypocritical when someone says they only drink because it tastes good. Part of the enjoyment of the beverage is the alcohol itself. Otherwise you would be drinking non-alcoholic beer and wine.

Wow.
Grasping at straws here.

I don't know why you get so offended when I tell you like it is. Stereotype? The whole medicinal mj movement and the push to legalize it is fronted by stoners. That's not opinion.
Massachusetts had two recent votes in the last couple years. To make it a simple misdemeanor for 1 oz and less. And to legalize medicinal use.
I saw the proponents for both. I witnessed the rallies. I watched college kids organize who have never even voted before.

As for non-alcohol beer and wine? Tastes like crap. I'm not a bud light guy, I like a decent microbrew.

And I'm sorry that you only drink beer for the buzz. That's sign of an addictive behavior, which may explain your penchant for mj?
I often have friends over and we'll drink a beer.
This happens all the time and is completely normal. It's called being a mature adult.

There is no equivalent casual use when speaking of pot. Don't try to pretend that there is.

By the way, if I had a beer and got into an accident, and my blood level was legal, then neither the cops nor the insurance company could do squat. It wouldn't matter. Alcohol is legal when consumed by an adult. How on earth could the cops or insurer give me any grief? The situation would not be "a lot worse" to quote you. It wouldn't be worse at all.

You're actually starting to make a case against mj use. Because paranoia is the other side effect. After forgetting stuff.
And stuff.

Taps, I'm just bustin ya here.
But I'd like to see where you get "hypocrite" from me saying it's common for an adult to drink alcohol without getting drunk but it's not common to smoke pot without getting high.

As for alcoholic?
I'm a captive audience. Please explain.

driving drunk is bad mkayyyyy

so is driving buzzed, or stoned. I for one would never do it.

Tail which effs you up more 2 beers or 2 hits of pot? It's a trick question because pot can be loaded with THC or have none at all.... it can not be answered.

You nailed down the false argument, TW.

Thing is, we're not doing a scientific study here. We're not comparing beer alcohol content versus body weight versus THC level and joint girth (don't blush).

I'm just stating a fact.
It's common for folks to drink a beer. Or two. Then stop without achieving a buzz.
Not just common, but in many instances it's expected. Such as a lunch meeting, or at the end of the day, or when a buddy drops in unexpectedly. You have a beer. You don't get drunk. You might even drive later.

But it's rare indeed for a person to use non-medicinal mj and take a hit or two without trying to achieve at least a mild high. More often than not, they're going for a bit more. Which is OK by me. Just don't pretend it's something that it's not.

Yall really should watch the show.... you don't have to agree with it but it says much the same thing then looks past it for the moment..... you can argue about it all you want or compare it to the silly 9-11 movies but you should watch it first.... it dives into your very arguments.
