LOVE this thread. It's always fun to re-read, each time knowing a couple more of the posters a little better.

Good stuff.

Makes me want to put fish in our office's water cooler... Or in an intern's-- [DELETED].

billg ... I say

GO FOR IT !!!

It's a 'moment in time' that your daugher (and yourself) will never forget. Those memories will be precious ...

Anything that is creative and 'out of the box' can only be a good thing, as far as I am concerned.

kinda reminds me of a wedding I went to a few years ago. While the bride and groom were still inside the church finishing with the photographs we were all herded outside to prepare for the traditional exit from the church rice throwing. Except some genius thought it would be so romantic to have everyone release a live butterfly as they exited.

We were each given a small envelop with a live butterfly and instructed to open the envelop when they stepped out the door and walked toward their waiting limo. Unfortunately, someone failed to warm the butterflies sufficiently before passing them out.

The bride and groom exited the church, we all opened our envelopes and the still cold (previously refrigerated) butterflies just fell to the ground. I'm guessing there were 200 or more butterflies littering the sidewalk as the bride and groom walked by very carefully to avoid crunching them. not quite the Polaroid moment they had hoped for.
