I doubt we will. We got the Patriot Act, cameras on every street corner, the NSA monitoring all phone calls, and the NSA tapping into the internet.

U.S. weapons reaching Syrian rebels

The CIA has begun delivering weapons to rebels in Syria, ending months of delay in lethal aid that had been promised by the Obama administration, according to U.S. officials and Syrian figures. The shipments began streaming into the country over the past two weeks, along with separate deliveries by the State Department of vehicles and other gear — a flow of material that marks a major escalation of the U.S. role in Syria’s civil war.

The arms shipments, which are limited to light weapons and other munitions that can be tracked, began arriving in Syria at a moment of heightened tensions over threats by President Obama to order missile strikes to punish the regime of Bashar al-Assad for his alleged use of chemical weapons in a deadly attack near Damascus last month.

The arms are being delivered as the United States is also shipping new types of nonlethal gear to rebels. That aid includes vehicles, sophisticated communications equipment and advanced combat medical kits.

U.S. officials hope that, taken together, the weapons and gear will boost the profile and prowess of rebel fighters in a conflict that started about 2 1/2 years ago.

Although the Obama administration signaled months ago that it would increase aid to Syrian rebels, the efforts have lagged because of the logistical challenges involved in delivering equipment in a war zone and officials’ fears that any assistance could wind up in the hands of jihadists. Secretary of State John F. Kerry had promised in April that the nonlethal aid would start flowing “in a matter of weeks.”

despite the political aftermath and legit disdain for government power grab, I for one will never forget 9/11 and would not smear the memory of it.

People were lost in, granted not on the same scale, but Bengazi does scream coverup and I have a problem with the government with it.... to watch Obama during the debates play this thing made me sick... hopefully the truth will finally come out and we can grieve for both equally as terrorist attacks...

what was being painted on support beams.

why were dogs that sniff out explosives not allowed in the building

after it was painted.

The insurer did its own appraisal(s) before selling 3.2 billion in insurance and it wouldn't have paid that much either unless it felt it was worth fighting more. Shaving just a few million dollars off $3.2 billion would be worth the cost.

For example: I can't buy $50k in collision coverage for my $25k Honda because it isn't worth that much by any reasonable appraisal. If I was able to buy that amount and totaled my Honda, my auto insurer would only pay me what it was worth when it was totaled, not the $50k maximum...

In all seriousness, my wife and her friends (structural civil engineers) cannot explain the almost symmetrical "telescoping" of both towers. The heat/positioning of the fires could not have been more perfect. We'll never know other than what the folks in charge want us to know. Maybe it WAS just the work of wild-eyed, booze swilling, white woman leering, fervent Saudi muslims. Who knows? I don't trust the "experts" trotted out for mass consumption any more.
