My daughter paid over $40 but less than $50 (...won't tell me exactly how much...) for the bottle they got me for Christmas. It sucks sometimes to live in Hawaii.

I forgot to mention Wathen’s Single-Barrel Bourbon. Good stuff if you can find it.

Frank, actually all Weller is young Pappy at least that is what the master distiller at Buffalo Trace told me.

sounds like a very reliable source you got there!

Hmmm wathen's and weller. Never heard of either of those. More to search for! Neither of the bottles look familiar.

I see someone threw out Weller 12.I forgot to mention it as an under $30 value. Its different from most other bourbons as its a wheated style.I always have a bottle on hand as a change up bourbon.Very smooth

I finally tried Weller Antique 107 here while back and really liked it as well,in that under $30 range also.Cant go wrong with that WL Weller line at all.

Me stick to paying a little more with the Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve.

I got my bottle at home from the beam distillery tour a few months back. haven't managed to crack it open yet.

I did crack open a bottle of 1792 RR that I don't remember paying more than 30 bucks for. That stuff was damn good.

They should be getting more, but he wasn't sure when. Sorry about that. I'll keep an eye out

used to be plentiful and cheap in these parts, but ever since a "rumor" leaked about a year ago that it was much like Pappy, it evaporated.

I would not call it best but a decent bargain is available on base called Military Special. A liter for under $10. read somewhere that its from the same distillery that makes Elijah Craig.

The regular Weller Reserve is what I usually keep on hand.

Since bargain basement was the topic of the thread here I'll throw out these as quaffable stuff south of $20:

Rebel Reserve
George Dickel 8

Just north of $20

Ezra B 12 yr
Jim Beam Black
Buffalo Trace
Weller Reserve

Over $25 - No longer bargain bourbon. Should be discussed in another thread.
